At Studio H.E.R, we help women build strength, balance, and confidence through Reformer Pilates and Contrast Therapy—all in an exclusive, women-only space.

New Zealands first ever woman’s only Reformer Pilates and Contrast Therapy studio based in the beautiful Mapua village.

Whether you’re here to strengthen, heal, or reset, our expert instructors and unique contrast therapy sessions are designed to support you.

Reformer Pilates

A full-body, low-impact workout that builds core strength, improves flexibility, and enhances posture.

Group classes have a capacity of 10 woman per class.

Private 1 on 1 reformer sessions are available on request. 

Contrast Therapy

Sauna + cold plunge to boost circulation, reduce stress, and speed up recovery.

This is a communal suite with a capacity of 7 woman.

Private bookings for groups are also available upon request.

On-Demand Reformer POD

Your schedule, your terms. Workout when it suits you.

Private Infrared Sauna

Infrared Full Spectrum sauna for 1 or 2 persons.

This is a private sauna experience just for you or to share with a friend.

Contrast Therapy & Pilates – How It Works

  • Contrast therapy alternates between heat (sauna) and cold (plunge therapy) to boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and accelerate muscle recovery.

  • Pilates strengthens and stabilises muscles, while contrast therapy helps your body recover faster, improve flexibility, and reduce soreness, so you can move better, longer.

    • After Pilates → Best for muscle recovery, relaxation, and reducing soreness.

    • Before Pilates → Can be used to loosen tight muscles before movement.

  • For optimal benefits, 2-3 times per week is recommended, especially after Pilates sessions.

    • Speeds up muscle recovery
