Contrast Therapy & Pilates – How It Works
-
Contrast therapy alternates between heat (sauna) and cold (plunge therapy) to boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and accelerate muscle recovery.
-
Pilates strengthens and stabilises muscles, while contrast therapy helps your body recover faster, improve flexibility, and reduce soreness, so you can move better, longer.
-
After Pilates → Best for muscle recovery, relaxation, and reducing soreness.
Before Pilates → Can be used to loosen tight muscles before movement.
-
For optimal benefits, 2-3 times per week is recommended, especially after Pilates sessions.
